These terms apply to text messages sent through the IpponHQ platform.

Program Description

IpponHQ sends text messages on behalf of martial arts studios to their students and guardians. Message types include:

  • Account alerts: Payment confirmations, failed payment notifications, membership status changes
  • Appointment reminders: Class reminders, private lesson confirmations and cancellations
  • Progress notifications: Belt promotion announcements, rank test scheduling
  • Marketing messages: Studio promotions, events, and general announcements (only when you have opted in)

How to Opt In

You opt in to SMS communications when you provide your mobile phone number through:

  • A studio enrollment form
  • The student portal account setup
  • A lead inquiry form
  • Account settings within the IpponHQ platform

Opt-in is not required to receive the core services of your studio membership.

Important Disclosures

  • Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive multiple messages per week depending on your studio's activity and your preferences.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: Reply HELP for assistance. You can also email support@ipponhq.com or call your studio directly.
  • Sharing: Your mobile number and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

Supported Carriers

Supported carriers include (but are not limited to): AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, and other major US carriers. Carrier support may vary.
